„THE IRRATIONAL PART OF A CHARACTER

IS MORE DECISIVE THAN THE KNOWLEDGE IT CONVEYS“

„Life implicates:

not sparing one another. The crucial part is to at least accomplish a maximum of fair play.“

„My aim is,

even when taking into account all fugacity in this world, to narrate as ably as possible.
This attitude, in my opinion, is the only valid common ground in my profession, for all eternity and applicable to the weakest role in a poor series.“

„The message is:

to discover and spread a few more gruff truths about this world by showing courage without being anarchistic; by trusting one’s instincts and not following provisions. […] Today, there seem to be only few things deserving protection in order to pass them on and I am eager to stress this is not meant in a polemic way but my perception of the matters of fact for I did not create this world. Also, I lack the idealistic belief embodied by Brecht, who claimed it is not important to be a good person but to take great pains in making sure that after a long life trying to change our world for the better, one can at least die in the knowledge that the world has become a better place. This, according to Brecht, is the meaning of life. Yet alone, no single life is enough to succeed in this endeavour. However he is right in saying it’s not the most important thing to be a good person. I say, it is of utter significance to be good tempered and full of joie de vivre. It is worthwhile to carry out one’s undertakings, even if it is impossible to anticipate the end. And first and foremost, do not forget to sooner or later kick someone’s ass who troubles you, for this is the better option than to allow more harm. The thing is, moral courage and interest in your own well-being are close together, since our society shows each person who wants to be like this at any possible opportunity that there are limits to help yourself.“
